I Wish I Was. . .

My first tip is to sit up straight. Not only is it good for you, but it can make you look 5 pounds thinner.

I can't stress enough, buying clothes that fit. Forget sizes and go for what actually looks the best.

Correct uneven hemlines that come from extra fabric needs at your tummy and rear.

Pay the extra buck for better fabrics, not only will they last longer, but they drape well and camouflage nicely.

Drawing attention to your face when wearing a dark suit by wearing bright colors (in the correct season) close to your face.

Solid colored matching suits create a long, lean line. Avoid fussy details and go for simple classic looks.

Avoid shoes with big heels, they look out of proportion

Wearing the same tone in shoes, hosiery, skirts and jackets will elongate the silhouette. I say shade cause please don't make yourself look like a giant blueberry

My personal favorite old school trick, tan or skin tone shoes help to elongate the leg when wearing a skirt. Darker shoes cut the body.

Don't wear anything skimpy or too short. Jackets should fall below the hips.

Avoid flats, even a small heel helps create balance.

Double breasted jackets are flattering

Avoid sever clothing like a solid, dark, heavily constructed suit. It can appear masculine.

Larger jewelry can help to create proportion.
